That time Hopper gave Eleven his bracelet/his daughter’s hair tie to wear at her very first dance (◕‿◕✿)
Ten years from now, no one is going to care how quickly the books came out. The only thing that will matter, the only thing anyone will remember, is how good they were. That’s my main concern, and always will be.
George R.R. Martin (July 2007)
ten years from now they will care, since he’ll still be working on ADoS and we’ll have like seven more histories of Targaryen kings

I was tagged by @pretenderoftheeast and @lyannas. Thank you, my dears.
Rules: answer the questions in a new post and tag 10 blogs you would like to get to know better.
a – age: nearing 28.
b – birthplace: Egypt.
c – current time: 7:40 PM.
d – drink you last had: Milk. Because I’m an adult and I do what I want.
e – easiest person to talk to: My best friend Mariam.
f – favorite song: I’m going through a Landslide obsession right now, with honorable mention to Kelly Clarkson’s Piece by Piece. I’m awfully sentimental if you can’t tell.
g – grossest memory: I….don’t really remember. I strive to forget such memories. Don’t make me try to recall any. They are best kept in the vault.
h – horror yes or horror no: Depends on how it’s depicted. I’m not really into the gory bloody stuff that permeate all horror movies nowadays. I prefer a good idea that sells its horror through the story instead of having random scares and blood shoved in my face. So I’m more a Get Out girl than any of the million movies that have a killer picking off people for reasons, or a murderous ghost killing off people for reasons.
i – in love?: Nope.
j – jealous of people? I mean, jealousy is a normal human emotion and I’d be a lying liar who lies if I said I don’t have my moments.
k – kleenex. I don’t even know where that came from! It’s the first word that starts with a K that popped in my head. I blame my tendency to cry over every single thing. No, really. I cry when I’m emotional, when I’m moved, when I’m sad, when I’m angry. The last one is a pain tbh.
l – love at first sight or should i walk by again?: Do people fall in love on sight, first or not? I’m honestly asking. Don’t you need to at least talk to someone before you go ahead and fall?
m – middle name: Don’t have one.
n – number of siblings: 2. One brother, one sister, both older.
o – one wish: to stop overthinking every single damn thing. Might be nice for a change.
p – person you called last: My cousin, I think.
q – question you are always asked: “Aren’t you ever going to put on some weight? Put something over those bones” is a personal favorite. And I’d be remiss if I don’t mention the wildly funny “why aren’t you engaged?” that I got asked at my own uncle’s funeral by someone I’ve been introduced to five seconds previously. People usually just ask if I’m engaged or not, but asking why was a new one.
r – reason to smile: My little nephew’s face.
s – song you last sang: Elastic Heart by Sia.
t – time you woke up: 12 pm. I was up till 4 am because I’m a night owl.
u – underwear colour: Green.
v – vacation destination: Anywhere with an ocean and open green fields.
w – worst habit: Overthinking. It’s taking years off my life.
x – x-rays: I’m going to assume this is about x-ray vision because that’s much cooler than if this is wondering if I’ve ever had an x-ray (nope) or if I’m into having an x-ray (no?) but I’ll take that x-ray vision.
y – your favorite food: Salad and I say that unironically. I’m happiest at any place with a salad bar.
z – zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Tagging: @him-e, @sheepassisted (I SPENT TOO LONG SEARCHING FOR VAMPIREISABITSTRONG, KIM. THIS IS MESSING WITH MY HEAD), @joannalannister, @samwpmarleau, @jaded-idealism, @januarium, @ipwarn, @weirdostarkid, and whoever else wants to do it.
Coming to Tumblr late and reading about the fighting backwards is weird.
the consorts of the iron throne
Alicent Hightower was the second wife to King Viserys I Targaryen, and a member of House Hightower. Originally, Queen Alicent had a good relationship with her stepdaughter, Princess Rhaenyra. But when Alicent gave birth to a son, Prince Aegon, a daughter, Princess Helaena, and another son, Prince Aemond, in rapid succession, and Rhaenyra remained Viserys’ heir, those feelings started to change. Both women wanted to be the first lady of the realm, but there could only be one.
