My brother just binge-watched GoT and came to talk to me about it. I was telling him about how the show diverted from the books and I mentioned the clues about Jon’s paternity as an example of the things that were lost in translation in the adaptation. He stared at me with the blankest expression ever before going: “wait, Ned isn’t his father? Where was that mentioned?”

Poor darling didn’t pick up on the finale reveal. Turns out he was wondering what the point of the ToJ scenes was.
